The source is not so good, produced around native 720p. The main issues are the colour bands that have fused with the grain layer, and the blurring caused by the upscaling algorithm. We improved the appearance of lines by descaling, and adjusted the de-banding processing to reduce the texture loss, finally supplemented by the routine compensatory sharpening and adaptive denoising.
