Frontier Works 出品的 BD 在编码质量上一向表现出色，加之本片噪点细腻，因此除锯齿外，制作与编码层面基本无明显瑕疵。不过，本片在 BD 版本灌录前遭遇了低通滤波（lowpass）的荼毒，虽然强度不高，但多数高频细节仍受到波及，尤其 ED 为风格化制作，锐度极高，画面细节基本全损，我们以 AMZN 源为参照对 ED 进行了针对性修复。正片部分则因科学猴的画面风格对这类后期操作具有天然抗性，总体影响不大，仅作基础处理。
此外，本片 OP 风格极为狂暴，画面为红、白、黑三色强烈碰撞，同时伴有高动态变换和大量密集的细节特效。好在 Frontier Works 的优质编码即使在如此激进的画面下仍保留了大部分细节，反观 AMZN 源画质已严重劣化，无法作为参考，因此我们只能直接以 BD 为基础进行多轮修复，尽可能消除各类瑕疵。
Frontier Works BDs consistently have good encoding quality, and the grain in this anime is also fine. As a result, aside from aliasing, there are basically no obvious artifacts in the production or encoding. However, the source for the BD version goes through lowpass filtering before mastering. Although the filtering is not very strong, it still affects most high-frequency details. The ED in particular uses a highly stylised art style and has extremely high sharpness, so most of its image details are lost. We therefore carry out targeted restoration of the ED using the AMZN source as a reference. As for the main feature, Science SARU's art style is naturally resistant to this kind of PP, so the overall impact is limited and only basic processing is applied.
In addition, the OP has an extremely aggressive art style, with strong clashes between red, white, and black. It also features rapid changes and a large amount of dense detail and effects. Fortunately, Frontier Works' high-quality encoding still preserves most of the details even in such an extreme presentation. In contrast, the AMZN source is already severely degraded and cannot be used as a reference. Therefore, we use the BD directly as the basis for multiple rounds of restoration, removing as many artifacts as possible.
