Megalo Box 在制作时故意使用了低分辨率规格，手绘线条粗糙，色调偏暗，营造出类似赛璐璐时代的怀旧画面风格。画面原生分辨率据分析只有 405p，片尾部分则是高清制作。我们将画面缩小至 720p，只稍微清理了色带以及制作蓝光时拉伸产生的细密锯齿和振铃，没有进行其他处理。

由于画面是有意做旧，自然也无需画蛇添足去拿高级算法重新拉伸，720p 已经足以保留画面的细节。为方便对比，以下成品截图使用 Spline36 拉伸到了 1080p。


Megalo Box is intentionally made in very low resolution, with thick, coarse hand-drawn line art and relatively dark colors, in order to mimic the old celluloid era picture style. The native resolution is only 405p, while the ending part is HD. We downscaled the source to 720p, only cleaned up some banding, as well as very sharp aliasing and ringing during Blu-ray production, and left everything else intact.

Obviously it's pointless to upscaled it with whatever fancy scalers here, and 720p is enough to keep all the details. For easy comparison, the screenshots of the rip below were upscaled to 1080p with Spline36.
