本次重制由来已久，起初只是旧版特典存在缺帧需要补压，可惜项目年久失修，制作人员均已退休，诸多事宜难以考证。随着时间推移，补压已成奢望，加之修复手段日新月异，于是干脆重制。重制的内容相比之前的版本，优化了对烂边、色度平面、线条和噪点的处理，并改良了编码。旧版合作字幕同样年久失修，因此此次重制并不携带字幕。需要字幕的观众可以从旧版获取，或前往字幕论坛自行寻觅。
原盘画质一言难尽，原生分辨率 720p。问题主要集中在色度平面上，线条有明显色度溢出和色度锯齿。另外全片多数画面边缘存在烂边，最严重时上下左右多达 8 像素。好在常规锯齿和色带并不明显，线条比较柔和，纹理强度一般，上述问题并没有给处理造成多少困难。处理上，我们进行了逆向拉伸重构、抗锯齿、去色带、补偿性锐化，然后针对色平面单独使用了神经网络滤镜进行修复，最后是自适应降噪。另外部分回忆桥段有过量的动噪（尤其是色度噪点），我们对此单独应用了组合降噪，以控制码率。至于烂边，由于亮暗间隔且数量过多，难以完全修复，我们以削弱难看观感为前提尽量进行了处理，相较于旧版已有明显提升，可惜极少数场景不论如何处理均会引入瑕疵（如第五组截图右下边缘），好在不是特别明显，因此取舍之后决定保留。

This rework has been a long time coming; initially, it was just about re-encoding missing frames in the old specials. Unfortunately, the project had been neglected for years, and the production staff had retired, making many details hard to verify. Over time, re-encoding became a luxury, and with restoration techniques constantly evolving, we decided to go for a full rework. Compared to the previous version, this rework has optimized the handling of dirty edges, chroma planes, lines, and noise, and improved the encoding. The old version's collaborative subtitles have also fallen into disrepair, so this rework does not include subtitles. Viewers in need of subtitles can obtain them from the old version or seek them out on subtitle forums.
The quality of the source is a long story; its native resolution is 720p. The main issues are concentrated on the chroma planes, with noticeable chroma bleeding and chroma aliasing on the lines. Additionally, most scenes have dirty edges, with the worst cases affecting up to 8 pixels around the edges. Fortunately, conventional aliasing and color banding are not prominent, the lines are relatively soft, and the texture intensity is moderate, so the aforementioned issues did not pose much difficulty in processing. In terms of treatment, we performed descaling and reconstruction, anti-aliasing, de-banding, compensatory sharpening, and then used a neural network filter specifically for the chroma planes, followed by adaptive denoising. Additionally, some flashback sequences had excessive dynamic noise (especially chroma noise), for which we applied combined denoising to control the bitrate. As for the dirty edges, due to their frequent occurrence and the challenge of completely removing them, we aimed to mitigate their unsightly appearance as much as possible, resulting in a significant improvement over the old version. Unfortunately, in very few scenes, any treatment introduced flaws (such as in the bottom right corner of the fifth group of screenshots), but these were not particularly noticeable, so we decided to retain them after weighing the pros and cons.
